Carlos’ trust in humans is limited – if you come too close he quickly flies aside, he needs a safe distance from people and other animals. But he can also be very trusting and if it is especially tasty he likes to eat directly from hand. Carlos is shy and needs time to admit new people.
Carlos loves bananas, fruits and vegetables, also special treats for parrots are after his heart.
Above all he loves big colourful wooden blocks to play and nibble. It is important that he can abrade his beak at hard objects and wood, this is very important. Therefore the Park needs toys that are made for that, or strong wooden stems and branches.
